Sailing Into the Unknown

This morning I woke up to many messages asking how we were doing after a night of strong winds and big waves.
To be honest… it was a tough one.
My watch was from 5am to 8am, and I had barely slept. While I was waiting for my turn to go outside, I listened to someone on IG talking about growth, how you cannot grow being in the KNOWN. That real expansion only happens when you place yourself in the UNKNOWN.
And there I was… stepping into pitch-black darkness.
I couldn’t see anything in front of us. Nothing around us.
Just the wind screaming, the waves lifting and slamming the boat, the hulls shaking and complaining… a raw symphony of nature.
For the first time, I felt I was fully inside the Unknown.
I couldn’t see a thing, but I knew we were pointing in the right direction.
And in that moment, all I had was faith.
Faith that we were protected.
Faith that everything would be okay.
Faith that sometimes you don’t need to see… you just need to trust.
And suddenly, something shifted.
A deep sense of calmness and stillness washed over me, powerful, grounding, almost sacred. In the middle of chaos, I found peace. In the heart of the storm, I understood the message:
Growth happens when you surrender to the Unknown… and trust that Life is guiding you.
