Leaving My Comfort Zone

When I was living in Miami, I wasn’t even aware of how deep into my comfort zone I had slipped. The first seven years there were the most challenging of my life, moving to a new country where I didn’t speak the language fluently, building a new network, joining a new company, and eventually launching my own business. I had to grow immensely on a personal level to navigate all that stress and uncertainty.

I invested thousands of hours in self-development, and that journey led me to something beautiful: a loving family, an incredible group of friends, and a thriving business with the most amazing team, my CURATED family.

Now, as I embark on this sailing journey, I sometimes feel the old version of myself resurfacing. The doubts, the insecurities, the fears, they creep in from time to time. And only now do I realize: my life in Miami had become a true comfort zone.

Maybe that’s why the universe called me to this adventure. To remind me that growth never ends. That there’s always another edge to lean into.

I don’t know exactly what the future holds for me or for my family. But one thing I do know, something I didn’t understand ten years ago, is that whatever comes our way carries a lesson. And the faster we embrace and integrate those lessons, the more gracefully we evolve into this new chapter.

I’m sailing into the unknown, but this time, with the awareness that all I need to do is surrender and let the wind and the elements guide us forward.
