In the midst of strong winds and crashing waves, I stepped into the unknown—unable to see what lay ahead, but trusting we were moving in the right direction. The Best lesson that I have learned has been that I can not always go where I want to go on my timming. Its not up to me but external factors like the weather, crew, boat… I can have an idea and then work with the weather, crew and boat to get there. But it will never be on my terms or as I had planned because weather wont permit, or a crew member will need a break or something on the boat will break and we will have to stop to repair. So DONT MAKE A FIX PLAN, JUST KNOW YOUR
